Many thanks to everyone who sponsored me in the 5K Race for Life run in May. The money has gone to UK Cancer research. Bizarrely, I’ve been persuaded to go for the 10K in September

Staggering response rate
It’s not often a research project brings 50% response, but that is what Tigerfish PR achieved during a research project for Insight Media, suppliers of ICAM wireless access control software for libraries.
Over 200 library authorities were telephoned in a 2 week period to ascertain the right contact person, and an online questionnaire was sent out to those people to find out more about the current situation regarding hotspots in libraries. “We were delighted with the numbers and quality of feedback,” said Insight managing director, Neil Johnson “Tigerfish worked to an extremely tight deadline, but we now have some very valuable information. We have run a series of seminars based on the data, and will make it available to all library authorities so they can see a UK-wide snapshot of the position regarding wi-fi uptake, and some of the issues involved.” More information on this project is available from http://www.insight-icam.co.uk/
