France Line MD shortlisted for a prestigious transport and logistics award

Managing Director at Manchester-based France Line International Transport Ltd Marie Boyer has been shortlisted for the annual FTA everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards.

Marie, who is successfully leading an award-winning and all-female team, has been select for the Director of the Year Award category, sponsored by Asda Stores Ltd

The FTA everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards aims to raise awareness of the opportunities offered by the industry, to showcase the variety of fulfilling careers available and encourage women to bring their skills to the industry.

Marie says: “I am really pleased to be shortlisted in such a prestigious award and wish all the finalists good luck.”

Marie became MD of France Line in 2008 and the company has grown under her vision, focus, and inspirational leadership style, becoming firmly on the map for road freight between UK and France.

A well respected voice of the industry, she has developed a new business model to meet France Line’s customers’ needs, grown the business and increased the number of deliveries on time.

The winners of FTA everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony at The Savoy in London on 13 May attended by over 250 business leaders and executives.
