I got to know Amanda through her regular contact with the CILT. She looks after a number of clients who are members of the Institute.  She’s a good source of stories and regularly supplies our publication Focus with some really nice articles.

So when we were looking at the PR arrangements for our North West awards, it made sense to work with her. She’s got great rapport with journalists and good trade contacts, and she’s also very involved with the Women in Logistics organisation.

Amanda was able to get us into the local and industry press we wanted, and we had some excellent online coverage too.  The thing about Amanda is that she’s friendly, approachable and you can always have a chat and a laugh with her. And she always delivers what she says she’s going to deliver!


I’d worked with TigerfishPR before, so when Peel Ports needed a staff newsletter I felt Amanda’s approach would fit well with our business.  At the time we had to communicate a number of corporate messages across the company. Ask any journalist what the worst part of their job is and most will tell you it’s ‘working with PRs’. All too often they are obstructive, self-important gatekeepers that are only interested in grabbing large chunks of their client’s marketing budget in exchange for churning out poorly written press material.

Tigerfish is different however, as it has always taken the time to really get to know us and how we work.

It works hard to make sure we speak to the right people, who can best answer our questions, and more than that, it helps us build relationships with our readers.

The only problem I have with Tigerfish is that it doesn’t work for ALL of my contacts.
