Ten great questions PR people should ask their clients

We all know it’s sometimes hard to bring the real news to mind.  In our previous post, we talked about the ‘door knob effect‘ – something almost everyone experiences. Here are just some of the questions you might use to help tease out the key news items and stories about your business:

  • IMG_2617What has made the biggest difference to your sales this month?
  • What new legislation is affecting your business at the moment? How are you managing the changes?
  • What has your technical manager/procurement team been working on recently?
  • What are the main issues your customers are facing?
  • What investments are you planning?
  • How are you communicating with your employees and customers?
  • What makes you different to your competitors
  • Where will most of your sales come from this year?
  • How are you coping with the current economic climate?
  • What are you most proud of doing this month at work?

Do these questions trigger any good news from your business? We’d love to know, so share your answers below in the comments.
