Ruby Star Associates, the business built to offer young companies added ‘ooomph’ has itself been shortlisted for a national title at the 10th annual Startups Awards.
The Cheshire firm is one of just three now in the running for the Freelance & Home-based Business award.
Following a thorough grilling by a panel of expert judges, Ruby Star will learn its fate at a glitzy ceremony Kensington Roof Gardens in London on December 6.
All category winners also stand a chance to win the overall Simply Business Startups Business of the Year crown, as well as the People’s Champion award, which is voted for by the public.
Ruby Star founded Isla Wilson said: “We are really thrilled to have been shortlisted and to be in with the chance to win a national award.
“Our business is built on a platform of helping others to reach their full potential – our contacts book is filled with companies who have their own success stories to shout about – and it is fantastic to have our own piece of good news.
“We have put our best case forward to the judges, so we will wait to see if they choose us. In the meantime, we would really appreciate everybody’s support and votes for the People’s Champion award. It only takes a few clicks and would be fantastic to bring this award home to Cheshire.”
